The holiday season is upon us! As you prepare for Thanksgiving, be sure to pencil into your calendar Music with a Mission’s upcoming holiday tradition, “A Jazz Christmas.” The seasonal tradition featuring the jazz and jazz-pop stylings and compositions of Delaware’s Wilson Gault Somers! The live holiday tradition benefits Wilmington’s Ministry of Caring, a non-profit now in its 45th year of serving the poor, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and supporting the recently unemployed. The evening is dedicated to Bethany Jayne Somers and will feature the Wilson Somers Trio with guests. The music will include several of Mr. Somers’ own jazz compositions along with unique performances of beloved holiday classics such as ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’. The concert will premiere at 7:00pm on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Tatnall School’s Laird Center in Wilmington. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for students.
