Reinforcing the fact that Wilmington’s greatest asset is its neighborhoods, Mayor Mike Purzycki and the City of Wilmington invite citizens and friends of Wilmington to participate in the 11th Annual Wilmington Community Cleanup Day.
Every community has areas—public parks, vacant lots, streets, and sidewalks—that are neglected, vandalized, or just plain run down. You can help clean up those places by getting involved in a community cleanup project. By playing your part in cleaning up your community, you will help make it more attractive to residents— and less attractive to criminals.
