Description

Shakespeare’s mystical tale of forgiveness and revenge, set on an island full of magicand music. When Prospero, the banished duke of Milan, conjures a storm to bringthose who betrayed him to his watery exile, he must decide whether “the rareraction is in virtue than in vengeance.” The production will be performed in theround, creating an island stage amidst a sea of people.

Bring your own blankets or chairs, pack a picnic, come for the pre-show entertainment, and enjoy Shakespeare outdoors at what Delaware Today calls “summer’s must-do event.”

Gates open 75 minute before curtain for picnicking and pre-show entertainment.
