Planned Parenthood of Delaware is ready to rock out at a new outdoor music festival, Empowered People Festival: Rock and Roll and Reproductive Rights!Dreaming about warm weather? Picture this: live music, food trucks, vendors, raffles, a day outside in the sun singing and dancing to your favorite local musicians to celebrate and raise funds for a great cause. On Saturday, May 21st, local and regional rock bands will come together with Delawareans statewide to celebrate, learn about, and support Planned Parenthood of Delaware. Featured musical artists include Full Bush, Bad Smidgen, Tone, Haha Charade, Buff Pups, and Kindred. In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the same location. All ages, kids 12 and under free, 21+ to drink, no pets, no refunds. Guests may be asked to wear face coverings within indoor locations and the event will practice Covid-19 safety protocols consistent with the most up-to-date mandates at the time of the event.
