Description

This master gardener loves a wide variety of plants as seen by contrasting groups and areas of the garden.  The overall feel is one of a Japanese style, but as you walk through you are surprised by the woodland area along a stream bank, and a bit further a small meadow.   Many varieties of Japanese maples, beautiful specimen evergreens, perennials, annuals, over 30 varieties of ferns, bamboo and Japanese concrete lanterns create a distinctive feel.  He has even managed to plant a neighborhood common area across the street with mostly natives. The garden lines between properties blur as he maintains those plantings as well and creates a sense of an even larger garden.
