Join us for free monthly social rides! These rides are perfect for beginner riders, those new to the area, or more experienced cyclists interested in a low-key, non-competitive opportunity to meet other riders. Rides start and end at our shop, distance ranges from 3-22 miles, and pace is relaxed. Absolutely no one will be left behind or pressured to go faster! No registration required.
July 19 – Introduction to Country Roads
12pm start; 24 miles; Adults only please
Ride with us on beautiful country roads to the historic enclave of Yorklyn where you can take a spin on the Auburn Valley Trail or check out Dew Point Brewing Company. This ride not suitable for brand new riders; riders should have a basic comfort sharing the road with motor vehicles.
August 23 – Custom Bike Parade
1pm start; 2-4miles
Whether you’ve built a one-of-a-kind bike from the ground up or tricked out your old Huffy with colorful accessories, bring your favorite custom riding machine. Don’t have one? We’ll have some accessories and decorations for you at the start.
September TBD – Wilmington Art Tour
Visit the Delaware Contemporary, Delaware Art Museum, and boutique art galleries in Wilmington. Museum admittance is free, donations encouraged.
October 26 – Halloweed Costume Ride
1pm start; 6-8 miles
Good old fashioned Halloween fun! Please keep safety in mind when choosing a costume and avoid loose straps/fabric that could get caught in your chain.
November 22 – Cranksgiving Food Drive
1pm start; 6-8 miles
Spread holiday cheer and help make sure all Wilmington residents enjoy Thanksgiving dinner this year! We’ll make some stops at grocery stores then drop off our donations at a local food bank.
December 20 – Holiday Lights Ride
5pm start; 8-10 miles
Cruise the neighborhoods in search of holiday light displays, with a pit stop at a coffee shop for a warm up. Lights required for riding at night.
