Description

Join Susan McLellan Plaisted MS RD as she presents her program on shipboard cooking. Susan is all about food and history. She was born and raised in the shipbuilding city of South Portland, Maine and has had an interest in early sailing vessels and shipboard cooking almost her entire life. She is the proprietress of Heart to Hearth Cookery and has presented food history programming and demonstrations for over 32 years.

The Kalmar Nyckel will be docked in New Castle that weekend so plan to spend the day.

The lecture is free, but does require advance registration. The lecture begins at 1PM and will be held at the New Castle Visitors Center.

This lecture is made possible, in part, by a grant from the M&T Charitable Foundation.
