Description

This program takes place in-person Wednesday, May 5 (Rain Date: Wednesday, May 12)

Eastern Bluebirds are among the most charismatic and beloved of Delaware’s songbirds. Ashley shares her research on the role native plants play in supporting the insects that bluebirds need in their diets, illustrated with fascinating photos and videos of them bringing food to their young. She also demonstrates how she installed cameras on Mt. Cuba Center’s bluebird boxes to collect data. Learn what you can do to help conserve these beautiful birds.
