Description
Join the Delaware Art Museum as they continue the celebration of two pioneering artists, Margo Allman and Helen Mason, with a virtual screening event!
They’re hosting a virtual screening of the documentaries created for each artist to compliment the Layered Abstraction: Margo Allman and Helen Mason exhibition. Their Curator of Contemporary Art, Margaret Winslow, will join to answer questions and chat during the screenings.
On April 29th there are two opportunities to watch and chat, 12:30p and 6:30p. The documentaries—approx 30 minutes in length each—will play consecutively with a brief intermission in between. The total run-time for each event is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. (Following the 6:30p screening, a recording of the event will remain available for viewing for 24-hours and accessible on their Facebook page.)
About the exhibition:
This Distinguished Artist Series exhibition celebrates two women who have dedicated their artistic careers to exploring the infinite possibilities of abstract art. For more than 50 years, Allman and Mason have challenged traditional expectations for contemporary art in the greater Brandywine Valley. Find out more here.
