The Choir School of Delaware, an out-of-school time, music and academic enrichment program serving some of Wilmington’s most vulnerable youth, proudly announces its annual gala “We Tell the Story,” a musical theatre revue. Enjoy an evening of Broadway music by Tony-Award winning songwriting duo, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, with scenes from Seussical the Musical, Once on This Island, Ragtime, Anastasia and more sung by the intergenerational choir.
The annual gala and benefit will be held on Wednesday, June 16 at 6 p.m. and may be viewed both virtually and in-person. The in-person gala experience to be held outdoors on the grounds of Christ Church Christiana Hundred includes a heavy hors d’oeuvre reception sponsored by Janssen’s Market and Total Wine & More. Adult tickets are $100 and support the Choir School’s annual fund.
