The safety of our guests is Winterthur’s number one priority. To comply with state regulations for Covid-19, Point-to-Point is going back to its roots of steeplechase racing and picnicking on the hills of Winterthur.
Only 3,600 spectators are permitted to attend, and sales of tailgate parking spaces are limited to owners of Lifetime Rights. There will be no general admission wristbands this year.
Owners of Lifetime Rights may purchase their parking spaces between April 1 and 15. On April 16, unsold spaces will be offered to the general public for this year’s event only.
Each space includes four (4) wristbands. Six more may be purchased at $60 each, for a total of 10 per space. Children under 2 are free, but a wristband is required. Children of all ages count as part of the ten-wristband limit.
A limited number of Tailgate Parking tents on the rail are available to anyone. Each tent includes a parking space and four (4) wristbands. Additional wristbands may be purchased at $60 each, for a total of 10 per space. Again, children under 2 are free, but a wristband is required. There is no general admission this year, but your tailgate guests may purchase wristbands by providing the tailgate spot number and your name as the owner. No personal tents, canopies, market or beach umbrellas, or awnings are allowed. So, if you would like shade and cover, please consider a Tailgate Parking Tent.

There are no online sales. Please see the map for tailgate tents and parking locations. Purchases over $240 are tax deductible.
All guests must bring a mask. Wearing masks is required wherever it is difficult to maintain a safe social distance of 6 feet from people who are not from your household. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a face mask, we ask that you do not attend Point-to-Point. Be creative with your facewear—the best face cover will win our MASKerade contest.
Though we are unable to provide traditions such as the carriage parade and marketplace this year, we encourage you to gather safely for picnicking along the racecourse. Food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, are permitted, but they will not be available for sale on-site. Please enjoy responsibly.
