In Focus: Photography from the Collection
This exhibition spotlights the work of female photographers in the Museum’s collection, bringing together more…
The journey to the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution in 1920 was hard fought over 70 years. The struggle for women’s suffrage created many heroes who sacrificed their time, money, health, and social status to win that right. The 100th anniversary is a perfect occasion to acknowledge the brave, persistent women who led the Woman’s Suffrage Movement, both white and Black. This virtual program is FREE thanks to the generosity of Delaware Humanities. Registration is required.
